How To Become Eligible

Getting my benefits

When you start working, you have to work a minimum of 360 hours in the first three months (about 30 hours per week) to become eligible.

If you meet the 360 hours during those three months then there will be a waiting period of one month and you will have coverage on the first day of the following month.

Example:

If you start work in January, you will have to work at least 360 hours in January, February and March. Then April will be the waiting month and your coverage will begin the first of May.
