I never picked a dental plan and now need to go to the dentist.  What should I do?  
If you never picked a dental plan, you are automatically enrolled in Dental Plan A.  Call the Fund to see what plan you are in now. Click here for a summary of your dental choices. Dental Plan A has a network of dentists and you choose a dentist from the network.  To pick a dentist, call Nevada Pacific Dental (NPD) at (702) 737-8900. Click here for a list of Plan A dentists accepting new patients.

I want to change to a different dentist in Dental Plan A.  How do I do it?
You need to complete a transfer card to change Plan A dentists.  You can get this card from Customer Service or from NPD, or click here. If you don’t like your plan A dentist, you can switch to another – but it may take a few weeks to get you on the list at the new office, so plan ahead.

I want to change dental plans - can I do this?
You can change dental plans 2 times a year - once during annual open enrollment (usually in November/December) and one additional time between open enrollments.  To change dental plans, contact Customer Service.  Coverage in the Plan Begins the 1st of the following month.

I have a dental emergency – what do I do?
If you are in Dental Plan B, call your dentist, or any dentist. If you are in Dental Plan A, call Nevada Pacific Dental (NPD) at (702) 737-8900 – they will help you get into a dentist if it is an emergency. If you are in Dental Plan B, call any dentist for care.
