What health conditions can I use this benefit for?
The benefit only covers acupuncture for pain management of certain conditions, such as:
- Acquired spondylolisthesis
- Ankle sprain
- Bell’s palsy
- Carpal tunnel syndrome (tingling and numbness in your hands or arms)
- Chronic headache
- Chronic neck pain
- Epilepsy
- Fibromyalgia (condition that causes aches and pains all over the body)
- Joint pain
- Low back pain
- Lower back sprain/strain
- Myofascial pain (disorder that causes muscle pain)
- Nausea (feeling like youʼre going to vomit) due to surgery, pregnancy, or cancer treatment (chemotherapy)
- Pain from osteoarthritis of the hip or knee
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Rotator cuff syndrome
How much will this treatment cost?
The copay is $15 per visit.
How many times can I get this treatment?
There is a limit of 12 visits per calendar year.
