Copay information

Copays are what you pay when you get some medical services. There is a specific amount of money you pay for each service. You’re responsible for paying for your copay at the time of your care.

We work hard to give you access to the best healthcare and to keep it affordable. That’s why there are many services on your Plan that have no copays.

Check your copays

It’s important to check your copays to know what you’ll pay when you get care. The Co-payment BookDownload PDF can let you know how much you’ll pay for different services.

Copays can change. If you need help understanding your copays, call our Customer Service Office at 702-733-9938.

Dual Culinary

If you and your spouse both have Culinary coverage, then you will only have copays at the pharmacy.

Co-insurance

Some services have co-insurance. Co-insurance is the percentage of the cost of a covered health care service that you must pay.

In-network example

  • The allowed amount for a medical service is $100.
  • If your co-insurance for the medical service is 20%, you pay $20.
  • Your plan pays the rest of the allowed amount.

You can see which services require co-insurance in the Co-payment BookDownload PDF.
