Why is life and AD&D insurance important?

Life and AD&D insurance provides support for your family during tough times. It’s meant to temporarily replace your income and relieve some of your family’s stress if you get hurt in an accident or pass away.

It can help your family with:

  • Monthly rent and utilities
  • Debt or school tuition
  • Funeral and burial costs
  • Other things that may be needed

Accelerated Death Benefit

Your life insurance benefits include an Accelerated Death Benefit of up to $15,000. If you become terminally ill, you’re able to use some of your life insurance benefit while you’re still alive. This helps you stay comfortable near the end of your life.

Example

  • You’re diagnosed with a terminal disease.
  • You use $15,000 of your life insurance benefit while you are still alive.
  • After you pass away, your beneficiary will receive the remaining $5,000.
