Roasted chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon (tbsp) of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (tsp) of dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon (tsp) of smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon (tsp) of kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon (tsp) of dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon (tsp) of white pepper
  • One pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4 each, 4-ounce breasts)

Directions

  • Make a paste by mixing olive oil, oregano, paprika, salt, thyme, and pepper in a medium bowl by hand.
  • Add the chicken and rub well with the paste.
  • Place the chicken on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees until the chicken is cooked to 165 degrees.
  • Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to settle.
